Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We publish this page, and link to it from every page of the site, so that the disclosure and the request channel are available to you regardless of whether we engage in the practices the law covers.

1. What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), a "sale" is the disclosure of personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" is the disclosure of personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising. Several other state privacy laws use similar definitions and give residents a similar right to opt out of targeted advertising.

Coflowy does neither.

2. Who Does Receive Your Information

The only third parties that receive your information are service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to deliver what you asked for:

• Website hosting and content delivery.
• Email delivery, so we can send your quiz results and educational emails.
• Our SMS/messaging platform and the telecommunications carriers required to transmit text messages, if you opted in.
• Analytics and tag management, to measure how our content performs.
• Security, fraud prevention, and customer support tooling.

Service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own purposes, including their own marketing. Disclosures to service providers are not a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA.

3. Your Other Privacy Rights

Even though there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, you keep the rest of your rights. Depending on where you live, these include the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
• Access or receive a portable copy of that information.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

4. How to Submit a Request

Email support@coflowy.org with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. Include the email address and, if relevant, the phone number you gave us, so we can find your records.

We verify requests by matching the information you provide against our records, and we may ask for additional information for verification and fraud prevention. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Submitting a request is free, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal sent by supporting browsers and extensions, where applicable.

5. Stopping Messages

If your goal is simply to stop hearing from us, you do not need to file a privacy request:

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

Consent to receive text messages was never a condition of receiving your quiz results or of using the site, and you can withdraw it at any time.
